I have something a bit similar that I bought in 1978. It's "A Hobbit's Travels, being the hitherto unpublished travel sketches of Sam A Hobbit's Travels is a book with blank pages decorated illustrations (of mostly landscapes) from The Lord of the Rings, intended to be used as a note-book. It also contains a one-page introductory text "Sam Gamgee".
